Matty McTatty is a nationally known tattoo artist with a style and class achieved by few. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a member in good standing of the Free and Accepted Masons, and a generous donor to local charities; Matty's gift of good character is paralelled only by his style of tattooing.
While he is most masterful at executing photorealistic images with flawless color blends, sharp lines, and a careful attention to detail, Matty works closely with each client to ensure that each tattoo flows effortlessly from paper to skin.
He opened his shop, Peptide Tattoo Studio, in Carlisle, Ohio on June 19th, 2009. Within 9 months, the studio was voted "BEST TATTOO STUDIO IN DAYTON" for 2010 by activedayton.com.
Matty is a common sight at tattoo conventions across the country where he increases exposure in his trade and competes with other top-notch artists for awards. In his career, Matty has received a multitude of awards that consume several walls at his studio, including 2 best-of-show awards. His efforts have been rewarded by sponsorships by Tattooed Life Radio and Kingpin Tattoo Supply.
Outside of tattooing, Matty can be found keeping his artistic nature flowing by painting. He works well in both oil and acrylic. Whether its large or small, his works on canvas are created with the same enthusiasm and experience that he puts into all of his works.
Joshua is a unique person with a whimsical sense of humor and a penchant for the unusual. When it comes to his work, his focused approach and professional execution are what sets him apart from others.
A professional piercer by trade, Josh has been the body-piercer at Peptide Tattoo Studio almost since the beginning and has been one of the most educated and informative professionals in the area.
Proving that he is always striving to become the best at what he does, Josh took on the challenge of becoming a professional tattoo artist. Fresh out of his 18 month apprenticeship, he works feverishly to improve daily and has already started developing his own original style.
Josh is currently taking on new clients who may not be seeking the extravagantly wild tattoo and who lean more toward the tamed-down styles of neo-traditional and new-school styles at a very affordable price.
